For Speaker Sizes and Questions Click Here

I was a bit surprised myself, it kinda leads me to question how speakers are measured. Pretty sure the 401 isn't an exact 4", with the 501 being an exact 5" haha... Worst case scenario, pull off one of your door panels, pull out the stock speaker pod, and make a template using the screw hole...

For Speaker Sizes and Questions Click Here

Not even one sir. The 501's may or may not be the tiniest bit deeper than the 401's, but that wouldn't have stopped them from mounting up just as well as the 401's. :) As for sound? 10x better than the blown aftermarket of unknown origin/make, and the one pioneer in the other door. Rear speaker...

For Speaker Sizes and Questions Click Here

For what it's worth guys and gals, I have confirmed today that the Polk db501's WILL fit both front and rear. They fit perfect in the front, with no modifications. For the rear, they fit, but you need to cut the ends of the mounting holes open (not hard, pair of snips works well), and mount. As...

    Questions about rear 5.25 install

I discovered today that the Polk db501 (~5", actual dimensions are 111.1mm bracket width, 46mm from bracket to bottom) fit perfectly in the doors. I bought a set of db401's for the doors though, kinda wishing I had just gotten 2 sets of the db501's...

    Cooling system Stop Leak products?

Probably because forums hold 90% of the answers we seek, and experience teaches us the other 10% we need. For whatever reason, I'm finding a few other threads in the "similar threads" thing at the bottom of the page, but didn't come across any when I searched for "stop leak". Perhaps this is a...

    Cooling system Stop Leak products?

Well fuck my life then. Suppose I should flush the coolant system out this weekend then. I put a tube of Alumaseal in it Sunday afternoon. I most definitely appreciate the input, but I do wonder how much damage that little tube could do in a cooling system with that much capacity? I mean, it...

Building a 2003 WRX for my brothers first car.

So, yeah... this makes you a pretty badass big brother. Probably the coolest thing I ever did for mine was buy him a nice (for the time) tv. Granted, the kid makes like $5 more/hour than I do now, so there's no need to do this sort of thing... Anyway, looking forward to the build, I like it. A...

    BigZavs T56 swap/Finishing my 1.5JZ project

You know, I have one of those LS1 T56's laying around... too bad it's still attached to the SS though. Love the engine and trans in that car, but hate the car itself. Nice build by the way, good to see someone other than IJ doing something different now and then. ;)

    Cooling system Stop Leak products?

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section. Anyway, wanting to know if anyone has had any good experience with this sort of thing? I was recommended Alumaseal or Bars Leak Stop Leak (for coolant systems). Reason I ask, I discovered my heater core has a small leak in it. Not the end of the...

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

They should fit fine if the size and offset you provided are correct. I run 17x9.5 +50 in the back, also lowered a bit. Not even close to the tower yet, I probably have another ~10mm or so of free space there. Try a proper sized tire. The tire you have is damn near 2" taller than stock size...

    Looking for Montana Supra Owners

Sounds about like my situation in Wyoming... Kinda lonely having one of the only badass Toyotas on the road, isn't it?

    Wyoming Supra owners...

Heh, that's no joke... except, since I moved back from AZ, I have yet to see any crickets either. Odd... I do know of two other Supra owners around here, but was wondering if there are any outside of the Rock Springs/Green River area.

    Wyoming Supra owners...

Well, seems to be a thread for every state but this one... I've got an 84 6m Mk2 and an 89 1jz Mk3. Anyone else out there?

    how many are in co

Hey guys, I'm not exactly from Colorado, but it's close enough. I'm from southwestern Wyoming (Rock Springs), and can attest to owning about 1/3 of the Supras in the state that I'm aware of. That said, I've got an 84 6m Mk2 and an 89 1j Mk3. I'd probably be down for a weekend meet/cruise...

I never really got the Vette thing until recently.

You know, I've loved Corvettes since I first saw my very first C5, parked at Metro Mall in Phoenix. I still remember, it was a silver/gunmetal color, and parked next to one of the big planters they had trees planted in. :) I actually tried buying a c5 a couple times, but things didn't pan out...

What kind of oil do you guys use?1jz

I've been running the Rotella 15w40 since we got the 1j running. Where might I find this 5w40 Rotella? Not a whole lot of selection among parts places here... Checker, Vatozone, Napa, Carquest, and that's it. No catalyst to worry about though, that is one good thing about living in BFE. :)

    Locating RS-R Exmag GT-2 exhaust

This is true for sure, but why would you want the springs? Old roommate of mine had the RS*R race springs, and quite honestly, neither of us cared for them. The Eibach's on the other hand, that I had on my 88 n/a...

    Locating RS-R Exmag GT-2 exhaust

You know, if that's the same chinaman that makes the 1jz y-pipe, I'd stay FAR away... As for the RS*R, good luck finding one. My car came with one on it, it spent some time on a friend's car while mine was down, but I'm keeping it. Kinda wanting to find a silencer for it though...

Not to hijack the thread, but you should see what he's doing with it. ;) http://azsupracentral.com/forums/topic/4111-dustins-92-teal-project/page__pid__33128__st__60&#entry33128

    Wheel Fitment & Question Thread

So if it fits a Mk4, offset wise, it fits a Mk3? Just for clarification... I've already got a good idea of what I'm doing with the back end of mine ;)
