Well, Wyoming is a strange beast. It's cold from September until about June. Only problem with the BFG's and Goodyears in the size I need is that they're quite expensive...
Does 800lbs pounds of Mk3 luxury not matter then? My old 7m would have been a ~13.5 second car had I been able to deal with fuel cut... aren't s2000's around that stock? For what it matters my car was a ct2657 running about 12-13psi. Frankly I'm not all that surprised.
Good to hear about the XS's. They're not really cheap enough to sway me away from the Nittos though. They do however offer them in a 335, which might come in handy eventually. ;)
Eh, they're just upset they had to borrow their daughter/sister/mom's (possibly all three, considering KY...) car. The import thing is just a bit of salt in their wounds. ;)
Just looked up the 311... Always liked those, but never knew we got them in the states. :)
That said, I kinda lost interest in modding cars (and nearly Supras in general) when my bottom end started knocking a long time ago. My own fault, for not taking the precaution to do the bearings and oil...
Where I live, most people don't even know what Supras are. Maybe if I rolled around in a Mk4 they might think it looked familiar from somewhere, but most people are clueless. Which is fine by me, I love how a 4" exhaust tip is like bait to all the retards around here. Used to have a lot of...
Appreciate the suggestions, but I sincerely doubt I will EVER run Kuhmo tires again if I can avoid it. In my experience with them, they don't tolerate moderate heat (canyon driving) well, which is something I look for in a dry weather tire. I suppose you get what you pay for to a certain extent...
I'd recommend JHot Imports, any day of the week. You'd probably need to call them up if you're looking for a 2jz-GE, most of the motors they have on their ebay page lean toward performance... but I'm sure they could get you an n/a too. :)

Good to hear Keith. I wanna get a baseline for my car on twins before I start setting my sights on bigger turbo setups, and there really aren't any dynos within 200 miles of me. :(
Good to hear about the DWS man. I would love to go with the Goodyear Tripletread tires for my winter setup, I've used them for many years and winters, but unfortunately the only sizes they have in 17's are over a 50 series sidewall, no thanks. Need to have 17's minimum for when I get the ARZ bbk...
Higher than stock? Good Lord, I feel like I'm driving an SUV in my Mk3, compared to my Mk2... I can't imagine having seats that are even HIGHER than the stock ones. :p
Only reasons I'd replace the stockers is if I were looking to drop a few pounds, get out on a strict track, or if they were in...
You know, they're surprisingly not all that bad. Even without an LSD, the 94 I had for a few months was able to get me around without any excessive drama. Did spin it around in the rain, on concrete once. Guess I deserved that for showing off haha...
Unfortunately, teenagers driving around here...
Apparently your ECU doesn't know wtf is up with your transmission anymore, you're throwing a code... :p
That's pretty cool though. Not my personal favorite, I'm more a 3 pedal until I die kinda guy, but still cool to see people doing unique things to our cars. :)
Hmm... seems nobody's used either or isn't interested. I was pretty happy with my Nitto 555's, think I'll go with the NT05's for summer (oh how fleeting it is in Wyoming :( ) and get a set of the Continental DWS's for winter... Let ya know how I like them when I get them. :)
