If I could have went with the mechanical fan, I would have. However, a 1j and a PWR radiator necessitates that I go electric. I was a bit short on cash at the time and also unaware of the Adrenaline option, so I picked up the Mishimoto shroud/fans from HPF. Can't say I've been at all...

Just weighed my car again last night. 1j, stock turbo, full interior (minus rear seats, all 15lbs of them), spare gallon of oil and coolant, my tools, and a ~200lb passenger, gas tank full... total = ~3920lbs. Subtract driver and passenger, take out the tools, and you're looking at a 3550lb car...

Like stated above, check the plug to see if it's even plugged in. Has it always been up since you got the car? If so the previous owner could have turned the radio on, and then unplugged it. It won't retract without power...

Could be excessive oil remnant in the exhaust piping itself... I switched out my catback for a used Blitz a few months back, and there was quite a bit of oil in there, made my car smoke for a couple days. Went away after that though, so if it's continually smoking, you likely have different...

I've tried my own "customizing" on a set of sheep skin covers my parents got me last year. Unfortunately, most of your easily found seat covers aren't made for sport style seats with bigger bolsters... I'd say find a good upholstery shop, they could modify pretty much anything if they're good...
