Ford Ranger Drive shaft carrier bearing

Why not replace it with a Supra carrier bearing? Can't be all that much more expensive, and it'll save you work. Not to mention, I would be willing to bet that the Supra bearing will be a bit stronger...

    Interior restoration questions/ sunroof help

There should be a piece of trim that snaps in place to hold up the rear of the headliner... at least there is on a Targa, been a while since I tore apart a hardtop.

    13.66 basically stock 87 turbo. 8.5 psi

You should be in the ~300whp range there two-step-n. At SILV this year I dyno'd 320, ran a 13.5 @104mph with a 2.1xx 60'. Not bad at all man. If you're trapping 107, you should be netting around a 13.3, 13.4 at worst, work on your launch! :)

Does anyone run active components? What drivers and where

Dunno about anything bigger than 6.5's in the door, I'm sure it could be done with a bit of finesse and a big enough hammer... I'm running 6.5's in the door right now, Polk db6501's. Sounds pretty good, but still not terribly "bass-y".

    Custom Liscense Plate For Sleeper

That one would do well on a rock crawler/trail rig. :biglaugh:

    Best sounding/performance Exhaust System for MA70 7MGTE Supra's

All depends on the engine I suppose. I bought ^this guy's old Blitz Nur Spec, sounds good on my 1j, with a silencer. Probably one of the quieter cars that was there at SILV this year... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQXv39UnIa4

    GT5 Gran Turismo 5 Official Car List #972 Toyota SUPRA 3.0GT Turbo A '88

Yeah, if they for some reason decide to bring over the blue ps3 for the American market I'll be picking one up for the gf. If not, probably be getting a move bundle and a couple copies of the new NFS if she likes the demo. Speaking of the Move bundle, you do save $50 by buying it packaged with...

    Custom Liscense Plate For Sleeper

Depends on where you are and how many letters you can use. In AZ, I had "BHG LOL" on my car... then I blew the head gasket, go figure, day before the plate came in. Up here in WY, I think I can get a 5 letter plate, I'll probably be going with "RICER" for the 89. :p

    GT5 Gran Turismo 5 Official Car List #972 Toyota SUPRA 3.0GT Turbo A '88

I've already got mine paid off, and counting the days myself. Hoping they'll put together a bundle with the game and a PS3. Figure that would sell better than the ps3/move bundle they have now...

call of duty black ops pc

On a side note, 5.6 MILLION copies in one day? If I'm doing the math right, at $60 per copy, that's 336 MILLION dollars in one day? Still scratching my head and wondering if I threw in an extra zero to my calculations there... Anyone else getting the same figures? Gotta say, that's a good chunk...

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

Drove mine to work as well. Figured out it's real easy to light up the inside rear tire in 2nd if I turn at ~35mph. :) As for plans for it for tomorrow? I'm going to be saving up as much as possible until the end of May for some go-fast/stop-fast/handle-better goodies. :)

Should I trade my Supra for a Ford Taurus as a new DD?

Abe speaks the truth, get a REAL economy car if you're gonna do it. Now don't make me come back in this thread. ;)

Answer the question with a question (now NWS, with goats!)

Do you think zombies can tell the difference? Also, anyone else think we can keep this going until the new year? :D

    Selling MA70: Get JA70 or GT-R?

This. Why buy something you can already get here? Go for something unique. That said, I'm almost positive that I've seen one of those Crown Pickups in the junkyard just outside of town here... May have just been the Toyota pickup of that year, but looked more car than truck to me. Oh, and nice...

has anyone had good success from an alternate to Dynamat?

Stinger Roadkill worked pretty well for me. It's thicker than Dynamat by a bit, and works just as well, if not a bit better. You can find it on Amazon for a reasonable price, I did my whole car for ~$200. Covered the doors, rear hatch, the rear strut towers, rear seat area, etc... Pretty much...

what kind of power should i expect?

All depends on how well it's tuned, the dyno, how much psi you're running, etc... Every car is different man. Mine made 320rwhp at Wicked HP in LVMS during SILV this year. Mods on mine are pretty simple really, ported/polished head, BC264 cams, 3" exhaust from the turbos back, and 12psi...

My Car vs 2009 Porsche 997

Damn newer cars eliminating nearly any ounce of skill required by their drivers... Seriously, it's half the reason I have no respect for newer street-rally cars, ZR-1's, GTR's, etc... fucking computer does all the footwork FOR you, where's the fun in owning something like that? :( Kenny, you...

    Big 1jz build in Chicago

Heh, my current goal is to save 8k by the end of May for a parts shopping spree to actually finish this car up... head is built to be a mid range monster, I'm rather curious to see how your car runs with this setup. Hopefully you'll be done by the time I sink some cash into a turbo. :)

1jz running like crap. Not sure whats goin on.

Sorry, could have specified about the ISCV more. They have a nasty habit of sticking on our engines. Try unplugging it and see if it runs any differently. If not, then it's likely stuck open or closed... Also I've read a couple threads in here that some people have issues with the car running...
