Question about brake master cylinders, 88 vs 92

Ok, but we are talking about an ABS unit for an ABS unit, no change in that department.

1990 Toyota Supra Turbo Buildup - Satans Little Helper...

You probably already did this, but make sure your temp sensor plug at the water elbow is on securely before you rip out the cluster. It'd be nice it that's all you needed to do.

Question about brake master cylinders, 88 vs 92

Hey guys- I have an '88 with ABS, and I know that the later years call for a different part number. I was just wondering if switching to a '92 would cause any issues for me. Thanks.

What did you do to your supra today? Pics

I dig those, but not sure of where you placed them. Today, I pulled the entire font bumper assembly(with help from a friend) off a junked, '92 teal blue 5spd turbo targa, with shadow grey interior. Got the whole thing- header panel/grills/bumper/lip- just basically unbolted the beam from the...

    Knock Sensor Question

If you have a 7mgte, you have two knock sensors; one directly behind the alternator, halfway down the block, and one at the same height farther back, nearly behind the starter. If you have a 7mge, then you have one, and it's between the two aforementioned locations.

    cooling gremlin

You blew the relay. The proper way to run e fans is to wire in a relay to each fan. In some cases, a 30amp relay is just barely enough for the current draw. I installed a radiator fan switch in the water elbow, and ran two independent relays off there, each with it's own direct line to the...

Tookwik's 7M-GTE COP ignition mod w/ stock electronics...pics and writeup

Well, I do have a slight miss at idle. Not sure if it's the same as everyone else that's reported a miss; it's like one micro-miss every 3 or 4 seconds, hardly noticeable, actually. And I have done the igniter ground mod.

Tookwik's 7M-GTE COP ignition mod w/ stock electronics...pics and writeup

Just picked up 3 coils for $70 shipped. Looking forward to trying this mod out. I see that Flubyux is using a plug gapped at .048", with no breakup at 17psi. This tells me that another benefit to this mod might simply be more efficient combustion @ idle/part throttle, due to that increased gap...

Not getting fuel pressure after Walbro 255 swap. Help.

Check that the wiring at the top of the fuel pump is not exposed, grounding it to the car. Maybe in reversing the wires, one of them frayed.

Anyone "shave" the front nose emblem? Or paint the 90-92 emblem?

This is almost on-topic: Does anyone know if the upper nose panels are the same for 86.5-88, AND 89+? Or is there a difference due to the change in lower bumper?

    Resistor box removal?

Lol. And remember that a stitch in time saves nine. Or it might be ten- can't remember. Check the service manual to be sure before you begin.

Walbro fuel pump upgrade - is 12V mod required?

I've run my Walbro without the 12v mod for 5yrs now, but I only boost to about 12psi max, and it's tuned rich. When i go to a T-4 after the summer, I'll be doing the rewire. And as Shaeff pointed out, the 9-12volt switchover does play havoc with AFR adjustment when you're going for max power.
