You know you're a Supra owner when...

Eh, being NA isn't so bad at lower elevations, I rather enjoyed my NA's down in Arizona. :) That said, you know you're a Supra owner when 400hp is really just the start of things...

    Tire Decision Help

Good to hear you like them man. My wheels are a bit sucked in (not terrible, but it works), yours stick out just a bit more, look better too. Hard to believe they're that much lighter, I wonder if I can get those wheels in a size that would work for me..? As for GY tires, I've had good...

    Floor epoxy (garage use)?

Definitely, either that or the flake stuff... Not sure I'll be spending much time on my back, but if I were planning to do that, a creeper would probably be in order. Good to hear that flake stuff works well. Like paint, prep is definitely the important step here. Already taken steps to get as...

    2T & 3T engine questions

Hahaha, sooooo true. My first Toyota (of my own anyway) was my forum namesake, a TE72. 1980 liftback/fastback (whatever you call it, was cool in an 'ugly' sort of way), 5 speed, 3TC... fun times. I believe you'll find a good starting point here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_T_engine#3T...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

...when you see that econo-boxes are getting into the 3000lb category, and start to think "maybe my car *isn't* quite so heavy after all..." ;)

    Overheating issues

Blame global warming man. :p Seriously though, about your comparison to a Chevy truck, considering how big your average truck/suv cabin is, it probably has a lot more capacity to remove heat... Are your windows tinted? I haven't seen anything on that in this thread (or may have missed it), but...

    Tire Decision Help

Sorry for the delay man, I only get on here during my lunch breaks at work. I have 255/40/17 DWS on a 17x8 +50 wheel. Like I said, they're a bit soft, but they do grip once you trust them.

    Overheating issues

Lemme ask you this, how often has your house's a/c been unable to cope with the temperatures of Phoenix? A/c has a tough job to do down there man, especially when it's in an underhood environment along with a turbocharged engine... just saying, perhaps you're asking a bit too much out of it? I...

    Floor epoxy (garage use)?

Guys and gals, I just picked up a house this week. Cleaned up the garage first thing, and have been looking into floor epoxy to seal the floor. Has anyone had any experience with the stuff? I've seen it in a few shops, and it seems really nice as far as cleaning up after spills and keeping your...

The commodore 64 is coming back....FOR REAL.

Gonna show my age here a bit, but is the C64 one of those Atari, Intellivision, etc. era? Can't say I have ever seen one.

    said bye to it yesterday

You must drive a lot of highway miles then... that is pretty awesome mileage for a Mk3. But on a tight, twisty canyon road, a Miata will still leave all but the most dedicated of Supras in the dust... you don't need hundreds of HP when you don't have to lug around so much weight. Perfect fun at...
