Yes but backfiring would be from unburnt fuel entering the exhaust, so I really don't think it's a bad injector, I'll try that though.

How long can I drive like this? So far I've driven about 15 minutes through town with them, but this was really bad timing and I'm wondering how long it is before they start doing any damage. The only thing I noticed was the annoying noise, is it ok for another maybe, hour? of driving?

Don't just pull it, that's how it breaks. Once everything is removed just wiggle it until it starts to come loose. Maybe try using a rubber mallet and hitting it in different directions (Just be careful where u hit obviously)

So should I just go in autozone and get the pads I need? I've never done a brake job before and would like more info.
