Yup, i know. However, i never said it was a thicker HG :P This was put on in 2003 - says its a 1mm HKS gasket, made of metal, at least on the bill. Dont have the funds or tools to tear the engine apart to check that though...

True, whilst i'm not playing with high boost, i'd still rather have the best gasket thats affordable. I might go NA-T or Supercharged, or just increase the compression to 10.5:1, get some high lift cams, new valves etc ;)

I'm lucky enough to have both an ex-brabham mechanic on hand, and the previous owners good care of the vehicle, including an HKS head gasket :D

Well, it does mean that the car is driveable once more....and thats always a good thing.

I just use a standard K&N 57i in place of the stock airbox & filter.

There were no SC'ed Supra's iirc - although there was the 4A-GZE engine and the 1G-GZE's, with the Z meaning supercharged.
