Well, I'm finally back "from the dead".
I have returned to the U.S., and was greeted by a number of small packages at my door:
Earl's oil billet thermostat, TRD oil cap, M6 gold anodized titanium bolts, 10 gauge fuel pump wire.
Tomorrow, I have to drive down to UPS and pick up my DM intercooler...
Lol no!
That's Bruce Campbell, aka "Ash" from Evil Dead, right when he snapped and went temporarily batty.
If you haven't seen the original, rent it- its hilarious.
Here's an accurate picture of me:
I pieced together my own 7/16 kit, when i realized that DM charges close to $29 in shipping on that kit.
I purchased black oxide hardened studs, ground/hardened washers, 7/16 helicoil kit, and self-locking exhaust nuts for about $50 total shipped. Problem was, i had to piece the whole setup...
Good to hear-
Thanks.
And just to keep a sense of progress, i'll just mention that my Driftmotion intercooler kit has been *trying* to get to my house.
Third failed delivery attempt happened today, but i've been out of town. Hopefully i get home before it heads back across the country.
So...
I was right? The tabs are to be pressed against the sides of the bolts?
But they weren't in this case, because arp's were used?(the deep obvious)
So, why is there a locking plate on the flywheel in this case?
I ask, because i was thinking of buying one, but I'm using arp's also, and...
Well, I'm sorry Steven.
Ive' been staring at the pic, as deep in to the obvious as i can, but my eyes aren't what they used to be.
I don't have any experience with using a lock plate. Maybe you could help a brotha out ?
