I was parked in ASDA (Supermarket) for all of 5 minutes, came back to the car to find a bloody great score line down the drivers door that wasnt there when i parked it - this was an act of deliberate vandalism - WHY!?! FOR GOD SAKE, WHATS THE POINT!?! :3d_frown: :bigun2: :rant2:

It's my only car, so yeah, i guess its my daily driver. It's expensive, but hey, its better than owning a fiesta ;) I treat it more like a pet rather than a block of steel on wheels - yes, that means i talk to it - who doesnt? :biglaugh:

Last time i went out in foul weather, the tail kicked out and i span out 360 - lucky for me it was 6am and there was no traffic on that section of road. Scary stuff driving in the rain with RWD's...

I have the same problem with my 88 N/A at the moment - i'm told that its the bulb failure module - its located behind the passenger side rear lamp cluster (for you) - check that no water has gotten into the unit and that all the connections are tight.

Ooh - nice pics dude. I have the same problem with the 'fender' on my passenger side too (same as your driver side) - how did you manage to unbolt it without removing the front nose? How many bolts are needed to take it off?

It wouldnt kill me ;) Now all i need is a gearbox to mate up to it - RHD shell + 2JZ = eaaaaasy ;)

Yeah - i'm kinda glad that the UK doesnt sell anything lower than 95 (91) octane though. Pre 2000 when there was leaded fuel still around there used to be 'Five Star' - which was 104 RON!!! Lower 'Star' grades (two and three star) were 92 to 96 RON and were phased out in the early 1980's.

95 RON = 91 PON 98 RON = 94 PON 99 RON = 95 PON 101 RON = 96.2 PON

Aaah i see. Lemme put up a conversion chart for y'all - we use RON octane, you use PON i think

What octane rating please - premium/regular in the US context doesnt mean a whole lot :P

Just curious as to what people are paying these days for their fuel - currently in the UK, we're seeing massive price drops on petrol and its like christmas has come early. Last month, i was paying more than £1.04 a litre for 98 Octane Unleaded, and this month, i'm paying only £0.91 a litre...

Well you could buy it, but you'd have to spend an awful lot of money on it repairing all the rice damage...install the original front lights, remove that godawful wing, change the rims etc - is it really worth all that hassle? It's also an N/A....
