You're welcome guys. Adels are very common on aircraft (as is dealing with this sort of hose issue) and the industry tends to be a stickler about nomenclature.
Probably not although the stuff is pretty tough. Why are you worried about belt contact? Just fasten it with Adel clamps so that can't happen. By baffling I was thinking some sort of metal shield but it sounds like you may not have the room for that.
Problem is as the cars get older the owners get younger. It seems like 12 year olds are buying them these days. They know so little they can't even fix the simplest of problems.
Garage needs one too, preferably of a decent size. I keep a 10 pound 1211 in mine. Btw this would be far from the first guy whose garage burned down because of fuel vapor and a hot water heater. That sort of thing isn't nearly as rare as one would think.
'Bout time. I thought you were gonna screw with that forever before getting it right. Interesting the later evaps use an H-Block. I wasn't aware of that.
