    Rota HM3's?

    # Size: 18x8----------Little skinny for our cars... # Pattern: 5x100-----Wrong lug pattern # Offset: +48mm-----Would be rather sunk in... # Hub Bore: 56.1mm-Wouldn't even fit on your hub. # Weight: 23 lbs-----Are these made of iron? I'd pass, for all the reasons above. :)

Bring back the Kaminari 3 piece spoiler???

Most likely filled in the hole if there was one. My Regulus has a hole for the antenna, that is definitely getting filled, on account of my listening to the radio for about 5 minutes a year...

    Torn vinyl door liner

Maybe. Explains why I haven't washed my car in as long as it's been... then again, so do the dirt covered roads and slush/snow/mud all over the place. Keeping a car clean here is like trying not to catch an STD at a swingers party these days... :nono:

    LS1 MK3 Questions

I don't think Nick was being sarcastic there man. They're a good motor, and I've always liked them (T56 trans are nice too), BUT... GM stuck them in some crappy cars, quality-wise. That's why I will always support an LS swap into a better car. Best of both worlds if you ask me... If you haven't...

Had a little run in with a MK4

I miss living down there. Too bad I don't miss the uncertainty of the job market... There are actually roads that are nice enough (and out of the way enough) that you're actually not going to hurt anyone having a quick pull or two. So, anyone have a good recommendation for a camera with good...

    Mossberg 500, anyone use one?

Didn't care for the pistol grip JJ? Nice to hear about some long term reliability for sure.

Widebody: S2 front fenders and Kaze Aerocraft rear fenders (Shineautoproject Replica)

Yeah, I've looked into it. I've budgeted $3500 for wheels and tires overall. Is that $3000 for a pair, or an entire set for the SSR? I've got my heart set on 17" though, I like traction more than bling, plus tires tend to be cheaper. I may regret that decision if they phase out 17's in 10 years...

Those aren't the kind of people you want buying your car anyway. :p I've only had a few people ask if I wanted to sell my car, they usually don't ask again if you tell them all you've had to go through to get it to where it is now...

    how much negative camber

I ran about 2° rear camber on my NA, and around 1° front camber, the car handled great, but I wouldn't have expected to put down any meaningful power with that setup either...

    LS1 MK3 Questions

Your drivetrain will be fine for the power. Clutch is transmission specific, not engine specific. You'll need to find one that will suit an LS' flywheel though. My best advice would be to look up a thread by Syst as well, he swapped an LS6 into his with some pretty good success IIRC.

    In a really big sack.

I've seen some dumb shit before...

You know, I have had some pretty dumb ideas myself before (intercooler sprayer using water/methanol mix? Sure why not?), but I tend to research a bit as to WHY nobody has something like it on the market first. :p

401k, is it still a valid method of savings considering the current economy?

You know, the more you guys point out about this thing, the more I feel like an idiot for not being able to understand it better in the first place. The company I work for (Bishop Lifting, if anyone needs some pretty serious rigging built up), allows me to borrow against my account. Wouldn't...

401k, is it still a valid method of savings considering the current economy?

See, it would be nice if they simplified the x% of y% that you contribute, and z% of every r% that you contribute after that... and just tell me that they'll contribute up to 3.5% if I stick 6% in. Thanks for clearing that up, I kinda had a handle on it, but that helped out. They won't...

Faces To Names 3 : New beginning

Haha, seems like I might be the only one who caught that... Oh well, another one of me: I was lighting stuff on fire. Love my job some days. :D

401k, is it still a valid method of savings considering the current economy?

See, this is what I love about this forum, there is enough of an experience factor for big decisions like this. Our company's plan is handled through The Hartford, anyone have good things to say about them? Personally I've always been frustrated at concepts like this, so much of our economy is...

    Mossberg 500, anyone use one?

Again, neither of these things am I even in the slightest worried about. People can be dumb around here, but they're not usually *that* dumb to try something like that... Good to know, will have to look into that if/when I end up getting one. :)

    Torn vinyl door liner

Eh, shit happens man, no matter how careful you are about where you park, where you drive, etc... Leaving it garaged is the best way to preserve it when you're not driving it, but you can't really protect it all the time unfortunately. If it's feasible, park it where there is no reason to go...

    Stickshift Wheelie...

That's certainly nothing to sneeze at, but I've always regarded the Fox as a car that if it isn't running at least 11's, the owner isn't trying... Despite knowing I could eat pretty much every one of them I've ever seen around here alive (small town, and most people are "truck" people anyway...

    Gurley's 92 Teal 2JZ Project

Hey, I'm 28... and a half. :p So... is your car gonna smell like corn when you're running the E85 Dustin? Because if so, someone needs to figure out how to power a car with potatoes...
