Make your intellectual property reasonably priced and easy to buy, and guess what...

We just watched his "Chewed Up" special on Netflix last night, guy is quite funny. Will be picking up this newest special soon I suspect, the old lady rather enjoyed Chewed Up, we haven't laughed that hard in a while. Guy has quite the interesting history according to the wiki...

    Internet Justice at it's best!

Why does that not surprise me? Man, I try to avoid Kotaku like the plague. Between my two biggest hobbies (cars and gaming), I spend enough time on Kotaku's sister site, Jalopnik. I don't think I'd ever play a game again if I were to get lost on Kotaku...

    Happy new year to all

Good Lord man, did you have another one of these moments? I'm such a lightweight... had maybe 4 shots worth and I was good for the night. Granted, this wasn't on a full stomach, but I remember being able to hold more than that...

Who has ever wanted to do this?

You know, I had that desire a lot when I had a 7m that I wasn't able to keep running right... nobody to blame but myself, but if I had happened to have had (grammar much? ) some thermite around on some days.......

Somethings wrong with the rearend of my dodge dakota???

Is this something that could be caused by a welded differential? Forgive my ignorance, I know it's a popular mod with drifters and off roaders alike, but not sure what it *actually* does as a consequence, other than fry a lot of inside tires...

Help to diagnose strange problem with the Tahoe

You know what they say about assuming... find anything yet? I do recall a similar problem I had with the SS once, turned out to be excess oil from a brand new K&N filter, got on the MAF wires, and ran like crap. Literally felt and ran like it was going on 2 cylinders, surprised I got the...

Whos has the best/coolest license plates

Doubt you'll see him post on here much, but they're the Hiro style covers. If I'm not mistaken, C7 (aka Retrospec on here) sells a nice replica. Certainly unique, that's for sure. What language is that even in? Haven't decided if you're a him or a her yet Jared? I'd be highly surprised...

    MK3 Questions

Check the wheel wells and spare tire well in the hatch yet? Those seem to be the first places if any that will start getting the cancer... As for parts swapping, I'm never sure what's a what year anymore, parts have been back and forth all over the place on all sorts of cars since I've owned...

Mk3 supra sub frame & targa braces

Not to be a naysayer, but do they do anything for our cars? I know on F-bodies and pretty much any Mustang, many Corvettes as well, they are a MUST have, but I can't say I've ever seen anyone make them for the Mk3 or Mk4 market. Don't get me wrong, I am by no means a fan of chassis flex (one...

You know you're a Supra owner when...

Sounds like a good time to make a good stencil with a "1" on it. :evil2: I saw something similar on the back of an ice cream truck growing up. The arrangement of the words, if read from left to right, read like the following: ------SLOW FOR---------CHILDREN Is the ice cream truck "for slow...

    MK2+7M+v160+5.29 final drive

According to the site linked below, the 1uz is around 330 lbs. Granted, give or take a few, since this seems to be a race setup, there may be minor differences. Generally speaking, I'd say 350 lbs is a good starting point for weight. A 7m weighs around 440 lbs in NA form, around 463 lbs in turbo...

    MK2+7M+v160+5.29 final drive

Oiling, mostly. The 7m oiling system has known issues, that can be corrected with a bit of work. I've also heard that the 7m likes to cavitate at higher rpm's, but I believe IJ found/made a fix for that as well. Also, it's been mentioned, piston speed. It's going to be rather high above 7500 or...

Exact speaker size for the '87 Turbo Supra?

4" speakers up front, 4" rears. Most of what will fit an 89-90 will fit the earlier cars as well, especially with a bit of creativity. I've seen 6" x 8" speakers in the stock rear pods, with a bit of cutting.

Genuine Group A Racing Supra at 2011 YTCC Spa

Pretty awesome video man, watched this at home the other day. Guy in the chase car is a damned good driver to be able to hold his own on a track like that against a car that much more powerful.

    supra gtr?

Such as? If memory serves, they made a lot more Mk4's, and only gave us 87 and 88 model years for the ST165 here in the US. I've come across a few of them on Craigslist, nearly bought one last year if but for not having the space for it... just needed a bit of freshening up too. What about the...

i give up 1j running like crap need some help

I've also seen people post that running copper plugs can return a less than ideal idle, but they do run great under boost. Every once in a while mine will stumble a bit or idle a bit odd, but it always runs great when it counts, so I never really looked into it. Also, make sure your gap is the...
