Well - i can see no leak from the master cylinder OR the slave cylinder. cant feel any wetness from either end. May just need a bleed now - the fluid wasnt too hot when i picked it up - should have changed it straight off.

It turned out to be water in the exhaust just turning to steam :) Still wish it would idle a little higher though. I'm guessing that adjusting the screw stop might raise it? or is it ECU controlled?

Checked - and theres no leaks at all. Low fluid definitely, although the piston might have become stuck. Refilling the master cylinder and pumping it had some effect, and there are no leaks anywhere that i can see, no puddles or drips of fluid anywhere.

Checked - it was a wiring issue - the coil pack plug to igniter wire was loose by the looks of it. However, bearing in mind its cold outside (4* or so), should there be white exhaust smoke? I say its white, it just looks rather a lot, and it doesnt smell oily, just of petrol. Before you say BHG...

Checked the carpet and theres no fluid, none residing under the car. It looks like the reservoir is just empty - not completely empty, theres just not much in it. I'll get that topped up - should be okay then.

In addition to my other problem, the clutch engages only just off the floor, like 1cm travel. Spongy feel to it. I can have a look in the daylight (its 2:51am right now, and pitch black), is that low fluid, or air in the system? Cheers and TIA

Drove to the store earlier, and it was fine, get shopping, come back to the car, disarm the alarm. Car wouldnt start, tripped the alarm. Checked EFI fuse, was fine - no codes being thrown. Engine finally started after a jump start. Barely got back - stalled twice when coming to junctions and...
