Senior Capstone Project (CAD Model Inside)

Neat. :) Taxpayer funded program? Or is this a private venture of some sort?

PRODUCTS THAT CONTAIN ABORTED FETAL CELLS ~ Yummy P:

You know what the difference is between a dead baby and a Corvette is, right? I can't eat a whole Corvette.

Will 1jz stock valvetrain suit BC 264's?

Dylan, are you speaking of 264's versus stock, or versus 272's? Only reason I didn't go with the 272's is that I like having some power down low...

See that link in my signature about "living with a Supra"? Click on that, read through... ;)

    World of Wheels Chicago

Eh, nothing wrong with the hot rod guys, I usually like their style, just makes me sad there really aren't any nice imports around here.

I'd love a job like that myself. "Here, I broke this, can you fix it without making it bulky and overweight/overpriced?" Seems like fun...

You know what else we say differently here in the states? "Holy zombie thread Batman!" How would you guys say that one? :p

Providing a good first range experience for new shooters

Not that my girlfriend is "anti-gun", but she's never had the pleasure before. I intend to fix that sometime this summer now that I'm working days rather than nights these days...

Current best option for fuel cut?

This. I've ran mine for 2.5 years now, most of that time spent at 12-13psi depending on weather. Have had them as high as 16-17psi, and while they *feel* great, I know it's not good for them. Best to run them at stock wastegate pressure if you don't have the means to replace them or don't want...

building the 7m or go 2jz for 600whp fun street car!

But... but... what if Chevy did the DOHC route on their bigger v8's? I know the LS7 likes to rev, but imagine if it had a better valve train setup? Would make the same hp, and similar torque output, with even less displacement. :p The LS *is* 15 years old this year...

Someone in the JZ parts for sale has a 1j head for $175+shipping, IIRC. They don't flow quite as nicely, but it's an option.

Have you considered testing venues? I know all the major manufacturers have durability and endurance testing facilities throughout the country, mostly located in extreme climates, such as northern Michigan and the southwest. I know Phoenix at one time hosted GM's proving ground. IIRC, they still...

Providing a good first range experience for new shooters

You know, I never understood the phrase "cheaper than dirt". Dirt is expensive, as anyone who's ever bought land would surely attest to... That aside, good read. Thing I've always liked about .22 guns is that the ammo is nice and affordable. 1000 rounds costs about as much as 3 boxes of...

2jz gte Rev breaking up around 2.5-3k

The boots of your coil packs in good shape? What about the wiring on them? What are your plugs gapped at (should all be around the .028-.030 range)? Lastly, Albert on here had a similar issue that had him pulling his hair out, turned out to be a kinked fuel line that got crushed while...
