52 is your knock sensor code. but it may not mean you have bad knocksensors.. imo i think Most likely the cause of your code 52 is bad wiring. Many people have had that problem and many people had fixed it by re-wiring them (the 2 knock sensors). I myself had that same problem and i fixed it...

whose fault was it? If it was the other guy's fault make him pay for it to get it back on the road.. if its too much tell him to pay for a replacement lol. or just talk to insurance. i doubt insurance would cover the $2000 spent on the car prior the accident... thats horrible luck man

ask you dad lol Some people Have Gotten away with just retorquing the head. If you are totally sure the hg isnt blown maybe try it? or replace the bolts with some arp studs? u can re-use them when u go for rebuild.

try to talk the seller into reaallly llowering the price because of the whole bhg deal, if he hasnt done anything about it. and check to see if it is in fact blown.
