Im gonna be driving in the winter too.. I live in Windsor, ontario so i am right across from detroit. Gonna get 4 dedicated winter tires.. this is my first winter in this car.. so hopefully it goes well.
he didnt even pack it.. just gave it to ups for them to do it. :icon_frow
i sent him a message and he said it didnt look too bad and that he'll try to contact ups about the shipping insurance on his end for me.
what do you guys suggest i do?
sorry... wrong.. firing order IS 1-5-3-6-2-4 but that doesnt mean its firing from front to back and that the numbers means nothing lol.... cylinder numbers "labels, names etc" from radiator to firewall is 1-2-3-4-5-6..
so when you are talking about cylinder 1 for example it is the one closest...
So i bought a 89+ bumper to convert my 87 bumper... i just like the look of the 89+ bumper better. anyway.. it comes in.. and its only wrapped in plastic.. i cut open the plastic (which already has tons of tears and cause scratches.. many of them pretty deep) very easily to reveal....
as you...
it sounds like your problem is your tps.. get it adjusted.. just follow the tsrm link given you already.. and i bet your air bypass screw was adjusted out to compensate for the improper tps adjustment so that it "idles". Fyi that screw is supposed to be all the way shut from factory... :) if y...
Lmao.. i WAS like that too.. its annoying now though as my daily driver.. i just have those times when i dont wanna hear it.. and im tired of having to blast my music to hear it or shout when i wanna talk and tired of attraction soo much attention with such a loud car..attention is good :) but i...
lol np.
Btw if you do need to replace a sensor or both sensors... there's plenty of people here parting out their cars with perfectly good sensors.. I bought one off a member here for only $35 shipped lol. and it works perfectly fine.
you shouldnt have a hard time finding them at all with your dad to guide you. some people get them from underneath the car.. i just got to them from above... and stuck my skinny arm in there lol. the connector is a round green connector (just incase you pull something else out by accident lol)
they are both below the lower intake mani. on the block. one is near the front of the block behind the alternator and the is about the same level height-wise right at the front of the starter (this one is a pain in the ass to remove/get to...) but if you are doing the re-wire first.. which is...
Pm Shaeff (hes a member here)
He makes the kit. Very good quality
I was very happy with what i got :)
and i think it was around $50 i dont remember.. but it was well worth it to me. Made a huge difference in my car's performance.
And get some pics up of oyur new ride :)
52 is your knock sensor code. but it may not mean you have bad knocksensors.. imo i think Most likely the cause of your code 52 is bad wiring. Many people have had that problem and many people had fixed it by re-wiring them (the 2 knock sensors).
I myself had that same problem and i fixed it...
whose fault was it? If it was the other guy's fault make him pay for it to get it back on the road.. if its too much tell him to pay for a replacement lol. or just talk to insurance. i doubt insurance would cover the $2000 spent on the car prior the accident... thats horrible luck man
ask you dad lol
Some people Have Gotten away with just retorquing the head. If you are totally sure the hg isnt blown maybe try it? or replace the bolts with some arp studs? u can re-use them when u go for rebuild.
try to talk the seller into reaallly llowering the price because of the whole bhg deal, if he hasnt done anything about it. and check to see if it is in fact blown.
