    ok, let me see if i can explain better. the cams, when reground, have 2.5mm taken off the base circle. which means the clearance is increased 2.5mm. the shims arnt that much thicker. so, to keep the stock shims. i would need to raise the buckets 2.5mm to bring them back to the proper clearance...

    well, its not the revs, its the lift that spits them, but im not increasing lift that much. only a lil over 1mm. it wont be an issue. they dont recomend shim under buckets till ~11mm lift. anyhow. i will need to find some 2.5mm thick shims to fit under the stock buckets to compensate for the...

    8k rpm redline. might go a lil higher later if i get a larger turbo and need to. also, my n/a 6m with webbers will have a redline of 8k as well. the cams make power up to 7600rpm.

    actually, they regrind them which reduces the base circle. now, you can have them welded up and then reground, but that costs more. how much more i have no idea. i havent checked yet.

    what about the crystal to raise it higher then 6900? i think a 7500, or 8k would be better.
