Well mine was only the 2.0 litre 12v SOHC, so it felt a bit sluggish - but it wasn't exactly slow. Took a while to get to 70mph, but once there it would happily sit there all day long. The only BMW i've driven with a larger engine than that, was the 1998 M3 - which was insane. Not as grunty as...
