    Mayhem Festival 2012 anyone?

Well, to be fair, it was pissing some serious rain on us (right in the middle of the Arizona monsoon season), and when it rains there, it RAINS. Pretty much started coming down hard right between 311 and Jay Z. Wasn't my thing then, but now, I probably would have stuck around. :) And for what...

1946 Chevy Fleetmaster 2-door, meet "Betty"...

That is certainly one way of putting it. I'm still undecided on what I want to do with this though. The less money I spend on this, the more money I can put toward something fun, like an NSX. I could get this thing running and driveable for around $2000 I figure, and that would (hopefully) avoid...

Alternative to broken IACV other than going TTC??

Is it physically broken, or simply not functioning correctly? Mine has its moments, I simply adjusted the throttle screw to keep the throttle open enough to keep the engine alive. Not exactly the "proper" way of fixing it, but I've been daily driving it like this for over two years now...

1jzgt head on a 2jzge vvii short block.

VVTI... it's all in your head! :p I would also recommend a thorough inspection of the head, just in case.

Nathan, that car (despite it's lack of wagon-ness) is badass. Should start up a build thread in the Other Cars section in Off Topic!

1JZ Trying for 600hp on pump

Perfectly understandable, I've been there myself. Sleep deprived, but not for the same reasons. :p Much like I am of your car, you're just jelly Dustin. :)

Help finding thread about front window rubber trim, (or something like that)

Does yours leak due to the lack of trim? I guess that would have to do more with the quality of the windshield install, huh?

Window goes down but not up?

Definitely not alone, I share this same issue. I removed my door panel and checked for anything odd or out of place. The grease on the rail (the x-frame that lifts the window) was a bit dry and crusty, so I got as much dielectric grease on there as I deemed reasonable. Fixed it for the most...

Well that is really nobody's fault but your own. Get to work! :p

just a quick question concerning pricing things..

Guess it all depends on when you buy, and when you sell. Thanks for the history lesson 3p, I was unaware of that happening. Bit before my time though... Still, my roll of silver dollars is probably worth more as a mineral than the face value is ever likely to be again. I agree with this...

R154 sparks from underneath car. Now ticking and vibration

OP, do you need the car for transportation to work? If so, I would have someone look under the car, pour transmission fluid into the trans (through the shifter hole) and see if it leaks all the way through. Should probably check to see that there is actually a hole in the transmission first...

    Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Radial play?

Sounds very similar to what my Mk3 and Mk2 do... definitely a shot carrier bearing. Does it do it if you're not smooth between gears? I'm pretty sure mine is pretty far gone, so sometimes between shifts, if I'm not smooth, it will have a bit of backlash.

    MKIII Supra Spoilers?

This and this... ...and this is why. They are pretty awesome, look very similar to the F40 (pinnacle of the 80's era cars, even if it was an early 90's car), but you're right about hard to find. I would have bought it from you when you did have it up for sale, had I not already had a Regulus...

Went to the drag strip for the first time ever, put down some crappy times, advice?

2.506 60' 15.865 @ 88.69 mph Not a terrible time for a more or less stock Mk3 at full weight without any specific mods for racing. The biggest restriction in the 7m's exhaust is the downpipe elbow, but if you get that fixed, good chance you'll be boosting a LOT more than you really want, and...

For Speaker Sizes and Questions Click Here

I believe when I was tinkering with mine, I test fit the larger speakers (Polk db501? I forget) in the front door pods. Only needed to trim the outside of the screw "ring". You know what I'm talking about, not sure what the technical term is though. Was pretty easy IIRC. :)

1946 Chevy Fleetmaster 2-door, meet "Betty"...

So, just a thought... might be fun to put the 1j that is in my current Supra into this Chevy, while the engine is in between Supras. Start a few local legends... :naughty:

I'm thinking about swapping the 1j that is in the Supra into the Chevy while the engine is between Supras... start a few legends around here. :naughty:

just a quick question concerning pricing things..

And the Miata? Probably still running around just find I would suspect. I had a 94, was a good car for the 3-4 months I had it before I traded it in for the 2000. I still maintain that they are a perfect daily driver for 90% of the people out there, or at least on here.
