    Back again

No, just really loud. Probably 120-130db I would guess, and very high pitched. Jay, I remember you saying that you had bought a place in your last thread... Question though, how did they get in? Was it a lack of security/securing doors/windows, were they forceful, or well equipped to break in...

    Mayhem Festival 2012 anyone?

You sir, can kiss my ass. It was a solid 9 hours worth of driving (round trip) for us to go see this one, and it is the 3rd closest venue I've seen a "major" show at. :p Sooooo miss living in Phoenix. Still might have lived an hour from a lot of the venues, but I still lived in the same city...

    1JZ-GTE VVTi BOV Mod

Interesting... the pressure signal is right off the turbo outlet on the stock twins. I'm trying to actually LIMIT my pressure... oh wait. I think I see what you're saying. If I get the signal closer to the throttle, it should see a more accurate pressure level? I do wonder though, how much...

What would cause my rpms to loop from 1200-2400

Try unplugging it yet? Sounds like what mine would do when it was acting up, if you unplugged it, it would do exactly as you describe. ;) Unless it is plugged in and doing this, in which case you might want to check your wiring...

turbo pressure sensor and other stuff help

Errr... uh... yeah. Small electrical fire inside the sensor? Otherwise, you got me, that is in a part of the engine bay that doesn't get excessively hot, so...

    Driveshaft Carrier Bearing Radial play?

Not all that uncommon to have a bad carrier bearing. I have driven more Supras with bad ones than good ones. :p

just a quick question concerning pricing things..

You may be right, it is hard to say. My dad bought a 1970 LS6 Chevelle with the 4 speed Muncie in it back in 1980, for all of about $800. Now, that car is worth about 50x that to many people, so the Supra's day MIGHT come eventually. That said, I prefer the first gen Celica to the Mustang that...

R154 sparks from underneath car. Now ticking and vibration

That is what I would do in your shoes. At least the housing is merely there to keep things attached and act as a small shield if your clutch explodes. :p

    Drain Train Vibration/noise

Oh wow! I thought my buddy was hard on his clutches... I would suggest you either buy a twin disk (those high pressure RPS clutches have a bad reputation for destroying cranks), or decide on that V160 and a twin disk. Might even need a triple, at the level you're working with...

    ebay turbonetics turbo

I would be leery of 99% of ebay sellers when it comes to turbos, unless you're ok with the risk of getting a paperweight.

You know you're a Supra owner when...

First off, welcome to the forum. Secondly, that might be one of the most foolish things I've ever read. :nono: Take a look at the "how to live with a Supra" thread linked in my signature, then you'll understand why I say that. ;)

Pre89 Bomex Style 3 Hole Lip

I'm all for pre-89 love, but my pre-89 won't have a stock bumper. Hopefully you guys can pull this together though, $200 is WAY cheaper than a stock lip, and these could be used to duct air where you want it... There have got to be at least 20 people out there with a busted ass lip that want...

    Skyline&Supra

At that point, why not just buy a Skyline? Given the amount of time and effort this would take, regardless of the cost, one could probably just buy an R34 outright. Not to step on a dream or anything, but... you've got your work cut out for you, to say the very least. ;)

    Name My Rear End

Paging Jeff Lange... Dr. Lange, please report to the thread. :) I would think you might have something of an oddity if you have a turbo diff without LSD. There is always the possibility that your car is NOT original too. If your speedometer works, you can find play with this and answer your...

Went to the drag strip for the first time ever, put down some crappy times, advice?

I remember doing this with my 88 (NA auto) a couple times, just to see if I could get it to rev a little higher. This delay you speak of, allowed it to run to 7k before going into 2nd, for some weird as shit reason, yet any other 7m I've ever driven on stock electronics would kill the fun around...

For Speaker Sizes and Questions Click Here

Best sounding car I had, was my 88. Had more or less stock size (may have been a minor upgraded brand from the stockers) speakers all around, but I put in 2 6x9 Pioneer 4-way speakers with a 10" sub. Took up about 1/3 of the hatch area, and added around 50lbs overall, but sounded pretty awesome...

    Motor Flush

The day I see an original 7m that isn't filthy... Anyway, change out your rubber hoses and gaskets, clean up the motor, change the oil and filter (as per hvyman's recommendation), and you should be good to go. :)

Suggestions on down pipes, and exhaust in general

My old lady and I have a good arrangement. I pay for the house and utilities, she buys the food. Other than the occasional gift (birthdays, Christmas, just for the hell of it), we buy our own stuff that we want. :) Then again, everyone has a different budget and situation. I don't let my...

    what the TRUCK!!

I dig it. Modern day El Camino/Ranchero. Seems a little more rough than the one that Hvyman posted, but I think that it may not be 100% done yet. Although, that aside, this is going to be bad for weight distribution. Lighter overall, but your nose is going to carry closer to (if not more than)...

    Back again

Bummer to hear Jay. I would think you can just plug it in and transfer, no? Your predicament is one reason I keep the most expensive car parts as hidden away as I can, even in my own home... then again, leave all the games (some worth decent money) out in the open, so... guess it could happen...
