    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

rofl! Hardly a baller, I'd say more a saver/miser who bides his time... Actually ended up buying a spare from the dealer in Canberra- only $45... so cheap! I took the mirror stock home and have used it for many sandpaper millings ;)

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

It's upside down, SLS (straight line specialties) made it. Works well for what it is, just wish it was a bit smaller and had a 90* mount so Icould make it a tad cleaner. But, function > form imo.

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Doesn't look any different than the 64, same housing/manifold. Once the new manifold is on and the hotside is bolted up THEN it'll look different. for real, there's no diff When I bought it: Right when it got installed/running, stock turbo: FFIM and big turbo added: A week ago...

What's a reasonable price for dyno runs?

Rob's got it right- $50 for 3 pulls is a good deal for a dyno day. $65-75 is the regular rate, renting the dyno (you tune, they run dyno) is $100/hr, having them tune on the dyno is $150/hr. These are prices from a local shop with a dyno dynamics AWD unit. He got my AEM dialed in on pump gas...

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

lol, I thought you knew! I was sending the original turbo out for a billet wheel, measured it and discovered I had a 64mm wheel on it! (I had ordered a 61). Decided I might as well step up to a 67 since there was no price difference. It'll make some good power this year, or so I hope!

    Leecheater's rebuild, getting there

I will be very interested to see how much of a difference that qsv makes on the 67, Dan. I got my new manifold machined and hoping for the exhaust housing to be done soon so I can bolt all that stuff up! I lost 1000rpm of spool goin to this 67 so I hope I can get some back with the manifold and...

255 walbro installed and check engine came on...

If the only thing you touched was the pump/relay, then my shot in the dark would be a rich AFR code (26 iirc) due to the J-tube not being drilled out/bypassed with the big pump. BUT, since we have no code info I'm useless! But seriously, pull the codes and report back here for further help :)

    Leaky Steering Rack Fix?

Only attempt this if you've done a rack rebuild before. You are right that its not super hard, but if you scratch or nick or even scuff the sliding surfaces its lights out for that rack x.x Not trying to discourage, but just making you aware. It's why so many shops recommend reman racks- no...

    First Fresh Build. Won't Start!!!

Be sure to put the stock AFM body back on before driving at all- it will be running lean without the 550 injectors!

    First Fresh Build. Won't Start!!!

Do you have a lexus AFM installed? It's needed for the 550's to work with the stock ECU without running stupid rich! Congrats on getting it running though!

    First Fresh Build. Won't Start!!!

If you think its fuel, try spraying some starting fluid into the throttle body and see if it pops off. Not too much, just a little squirt!

    92nsx's supra build

I guarantee that we can make that manifold do what you want it to do ;) 100% Emilio- they haven't made any more manifolds since that first one :(

    92nsx's supra build

Rob- we should make up an adapter plate for you. Run a stock TB, and we can modify the linkage to still be progressive :) You can keep the manifold- it should be fine! As for brakes...get some! These WW's are great imo, spendy, but well worth it. TBH, it feels like stock pedal effort with the...
