I only had time for a short visit to my supra today.
There were some cutting done to the beam going from side to side in the rear.

I continued welding today.
It was time to connect the inner guard with the arch but while cleaning the arch on the inside I found that it was in not so great condition, so I hade to replace some parts of it.
The hours ran away from me so I didnt have time to finish...

Todays shift made a big diffrence in the left rear wheelhouse.
The bigger part of it is repaired.
But there is still alot more to weld.

Today I got an IC from a friend :)
It used to be an IC for trucks, but got split into 2 pieces and this is one of them.
It's not perfect for my car, but I will see if I can get it to work.
The connections are 2.5" and 3"
If it doesnt work I will sell it to...

I big part of the spare wheel holder was removed to let me repair the rust that it blocks.

I spent some more time with the lathe and made 2 more bushings.
I also bought reapir kits for the rear brakes.

THe supra needs to be back on wheels before the end of june.
The rust that is left is in the left rear wheelhouse (rust in the same places as the right one).
Then there is a little bit of rust on the front fender and the passenger door, but these spots will have to wait.

I have now started on the other side.
With the experience from the previous wheelhouse I hope that this one will take less time
and just go easier.

The reinforcement in the wheelhouse is a little bit more complete now, just the outer tin left.
What do you think about the oil cooler? ;)
It's made for big forest working machines to cool the hydralic fluid in them.
I will only use half of it and I have to weld...

No work on the supra today.
Instead I bought some stainless steelbraided hoses for the brakes and the clutch.
A local hose company did it for me and this was the first acctual part that I bought
for the supra.

the outer tin with the inner tin.
