Today I went and picked up my new parts.
Everything looked great and nothing was damaged.
This was the first time I bought a silencer. I have not needed to do so for my other cars.
The welds look amazing :)
I went with Earl's connectors because I feel that...
Progress is good :)
Have you looked at the rust from the other side? I see that someone have done some welding, but skipped it from the boot.
Have you looked at my thread and at my rust in the same area?
Since you are about to weld everything, don't be afraid to cut out bad metal since all it...

Nothing much today, just got dirty with the undercarriage again :)

But that's because I put some more time around the sparewheel holder
Yes I have, but I will write the update now where you can read about them ;)
Maybe a little big, but I plan on driving this beauty hard on the track when it's ready. So I'm upgrading now in one step instead of two steps.
By increasing to -10 I get more amount of oil in for the engine to...
Thank you :)
As I (think I) said, this was only a test run so I would need to let it bath for a couple of more hours.
This method is not supposed to remove paint, but the yellow paint on the brake caliper was put on by a previous owner and not done well so there were rust underneath.
When...

After a summerbreak from acctually working with the supra I'm now at it again :)
I like testing new ways to remove rust and this time I wanted to try electrolyt.
It works better than I thought and it has several advantages over grinding and sandblasting.

Now that you have written in my thread, I want to ask you. What do you think about my right rear arch? If you were me would you replace it (again) in the same way that you have done with yours?
I bought those thru ebay. I just have to eat and then I can post links to them.
Yes, a full exhaust goes all the way from the turbo or manifold.
You only need a cat if your law say's you do.
I will build a 3" without a cat and just install a stock cat when it's time for inspection.
