I don't think they were racing. I think they were just at the track at the same time, and happened to get lined up next to each other. I don't blame shawn for letting the civic go first, afterall, it is a test and tune, not a series.
It went through the speedo hole on this one, but it could reach through the normal hole if I straitened the harness and removed some wires. The 2jz ecu adaptor added about 10-14" to the harness.
This project is now on hold, until my plans go through.
I wouldn't post it publicy. I would find some other way to get it to someone. I doubt SC wants a trail that points here, expecially if someone does something to the IP address of that person and it is an international thing.
Anything making over 600whp through the auto, I would be looking at a shield, regardless of the kit. I am strongly thinking about it for a lower (slightly) HP level, although I am keeping it at stock rev limit.
They are CT12s. Trust me, if you have ever attempted taking them off, you would NOT want to put a bigger set on there. Say it with me guys "JUST GO SINGLE"
There are many companies that make adaptors.
Ross Machine and Boostwerx make ones that allow you to use a GM converter, besttrans might make one as well. Then you get into the ATI kits and other styles like that.
That is a choice you will have to make. A 2jz will do that with bolt ons, and a 7m will do that with a few more mods. I would expect that both ways (done right) would cost about the same. What are your overall power goals, I doubt you will be staying at that power level forever.
