Just going to say this much: Any engine you buy used of this age, you should tear it down completely to inspect it, clean it, and replace all the gaskets and rubber seals/hoses. It really is cheap insurance, and better than a leak that you have to deal with later.

Doubt it. Not too worried about it though. The reason I'll have them is that the Chevy and the LS400 in my sig are going to become one in a few months, and the LS400 body will be leftover. The guy making it happen... he's pretty awesome with a welder. We'll make it work. ;)

I'm with Jay on this one... I believe this picture is of the bottom seat belt mounting point on the door side. There is a bracket that guides the seat belt buckle when you move the seat forward or backward. That bracket is what I believe you are missing.
