Can someone in the US get the part numbers from Ford? The p/n's for them here aren't the same, evidently, and the last person that tried got some asshole saying he wasn't going to give out part numbers.

I initially got them by asking for valve shims for a 2000 Ford Mondeo 2.0 - which you got there as the Ford Contour - they went to solid lifters here in '98, so they *should* be the same there. Lemme know what you find.

Right the hole measures 58.85mm across. Side to side, from bolt hole centre to bolt hole centre, it measures 60.95mm, and from top to bottom, from bolt hole centre to bolt hole centre, it's 80.5mm HTH.

For the engine mounts - why not use Mk4 ones and modify them to fit, iirc you just have to hack off the lug on the topside of them - they're better than Mk3 mounts, and not as harsh as solids....
