I would say change the #3&4 plugs, yes you have to pull the TB, If #5&6 were soaked in oil the tips or the plug galley's were full of oil from the VC's leaking? If the tips were soaked in oil and fouling then you have rings leaking or valve stem seals leaking pretty bad. Have you done a...
The JDM motor is a Cressida and yes crusinhard is right you have to change out the pan and the oilpump. should put a new oil pump in anyway especially with RN. The JDM probably should be taken apart to check everything out and see if it's all within spec. Some have had good results with them...
Never had it happen but I guess it's possible. If there is a little too much play in the clearences for the cam bearings, it would probably do that. Or possibly too much tension on the cam gears from the belt being too tight.
If you haven't pulled the distributor yet get it on #1 and mark the base with something that won't wipe off. Once you get everything back together and everything lined up, it should be easy to get it very close sliding it back in. You should time it with a light per TSRM after you get it...
You don't want to reuse the old pump. You install it before you put the pan on. Before you put the timing belt on, put a quart of oil in and put a drill on the end of the oil pump gear in the front of the motor and on slow speed let it turn until you see oil coming up to the head.
Not hard when you have it all apart you just set everything in line, the cam gears on the mark, the crank on the mark, then you set the distributor down in pointing at #1.
I think he's referring to the valve cover bolts. Just take one of the screws to the hardware and get cap screws the same size and length. The metal washers that have a rubber seal on them should be replaced also. They are better because you can use a socket on them instead of a phillips.

Good thread by gofastgeorge.
I just installed a Accel in mine and the first thing I noticed was it fired right off as I started it the first time after the swap.
I've never seen a leak on those. You probably have a leak somewere else. Have you noticed coolant anywere else? Maybe while filling it it could have been blown back by the fan.
I've had the MSD's for around 5 years now, had to replace the coil wire due to the change in coil, wasn't long enough, ordered another MSD to replace it, happy with them:)
