lol the only bolt i had a hard time with so far is the heat shield bolts
rusted to fuck
haven't played with the mani yet
so do you leave them on the manis? or take the turbos off seperately?
not bad tissimo went 12.6 @113 on shitty Continental tires and 17-18 psi 5 spd, with a 2.0 60 i believe in his 2J MKIII.....
thats not too bad for a 1J in an SC tho
haha just went to look at the kit and DAMN the CT looks TINY next to the 1J HAHAHAHAHAHA
the engine looks so lopsided
very cool tho i MIGHT think about it, but having something 7M related on my JZ scares me
sweet on 11.2 psi on stock twins i ran a 102 mph trap
so 3500 lbs @ 102 mph i have 289 whp on wg!!! lol yea dont believe it
and 3600 lbs @ 102 mph i have 298 whp on 11.2 psi
i find that hard to believe as well
oh so true and the 154 stands for the number of times you'll have to try to put it in reverse or 1st gear and have it not go in gear in a course of a month
im tearing mine down now
only worked on it for about 45 mins total and i got the front pipes off and heat shield.
just need to remove the oil lines and what not and then try to remove them
is it easier to remove them from the mani's or remove them and mani's together?
the higher the number the shorter the gear....
like a 4.30 has a WAY lower top speed than a 3.73 rear end
so in the link i posted.....1 2 3 gear are all shorter in the 150 vs the 154
4th gear are both 1:1 ratio
and 5th in the 154 is longer as well
so all the gears are...
mine does the same damn thing
when i left of the gas to shift and shift and get back on the gas when cruising it will pop and almost bog for a second like its going pig rich....almost like a 7M with open BOV.....we're thinking TPS
R150??? wtf is that from?
NM its from the toyota trucks
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_R_transmission
seems to me like 1st thru 3rd are shorter....why not just get a 4.30 LSD?
in the link its says the R154 is the robust tranny....so im sure the R154 is stronger
wow this went off topic FAST
lolol
haha MILF, well ric our whole crew that went to the track ran and since your tranny can't handle the 12 psi you're running i didn't see the point ;)
next time we all go i'll make a thread
