I only do this in my fully insured DD ;)
(even if they're vermin and don't have insurance my car gets fixed and my company chases them so win win for me)

I won't compromise on injectors after burning a motor down on the dyno during a low HP pull when one laid down :(
(it flowed just enough fuel to turn that cylinder into an oxy Torch)
I also like a bit of overhead so they're not maxxed on duty at your...
If it's at all low and you've done high speed runs chances are it's fried the front pinion bearing :(
With it on stands and in neutral/e brake off turn the tailshaft and see if you can feel any grinding/notchiness.
