Let us know when you find out Fred. I won't compromise on injectors after burning a motor down on the dyno during a low HP pull when one laid down :( (it flowed just enough fuel to turn that cylinder into an oxy Torch) I also like a bit of overhead so they're not maxxed on duty at your...

Fred: Are you running sequential or Batch fire on the Injectors?

Even if it were totally disconnected I don't think it would cause the issues you describe. Is the car throwing any codes?

If it's at all low and you've done high speed runs chances are it's fried the front pinion bearing :( With it on stands and in neutral/e brake off turn the tailshaft and see if you can feel any grinding/notchiness.

Checked the oil level? Done any sustained high speed pulls?

Usually when ASIC's is broken you get a surge at 4K.
