By stress I meant any overheating or milky oil?
Is it blowing coolant out the reservoir?
Make sure you flush out all the green coolant
Poo: 1st gear has the deepest reduction/least load, in "weak" boxes 5th is the one that lets go under sheer power usually. (early p series Celica boxes behind domestic V8's in the old day is a perfect example of this)

The hole that doesn't line up 100% is only feeding the Aux shaft bearing so I would imagine it doesn't need a lot of flow to maintain an Oil wedge?

No you leave the baffle in place (they act like a catch can to seperate liquids from vapors)
I'm talking about the steel tubes that stick out the top, just tiwst and pull and they pop out then you drill and tap the cover making sure to wash them thoroughly in gas then hose em out to remove...
