I would imagine the a350e (5 speed) would have a closer spread of ratios but I haven't been able to track down a listing yet.
With my a340e I'm using a PCS controller and a 2800 Histall this allows me to program it to shift as a 6 speed ie: 1>2>3>3L>4>4L
My understanding after talking with the parts guys here was NOTHING installed it came in a seperate box. :)
(what a shit job that would have been but then again there's so few Aus spec A70's it might have been one guy)
I would imagine there would be a lag/slow response to engine speed change Vs Oil pressure as the T Stat opened but surely once the cooler has a head of Oil there shouldn't be a drop unless it's very restrictive (which RX7 coolers aren't)
I'm using +5 thou aftermarket thrust bearings here both sides are shiny but the big givaway it one side has bearing material on it the other doesn't ;)
Ditto as stated earlier I'd be surprised if it's blowing the valves off the seats at 70 pounds seat pressure but <fingers crossed> hope this solves it.
