How the hell does 1qt extra put "pressure" on anything?
(hint the rear main ISN'T pressurised in these engings meaning the only pressure it will ever see...
If you're using the correct size plugs that there will be your problem ;)
You need to get them in with the minimum amount of hits ie: no lots of little taps as it removes the plug's Crush fit needed to hold them in place.
(this is a very old school thing taught to me 33 years ago)
Our cars use a double a arm suspension that already has a good deal of rate change and when you run progressive springs like shown in the ad it just blows through the lighter spring at the slightest bump.
Been using my pair for 3>4 years now no issues at all if they're done properly.
(Mine were done with Hard Face rods NOT plain cast iron)
I used to run my motor to 8300+ daily but suffered a spring failure using Ferrea Dual's, if it wasn't for the dual's I'd have lost the engine, since then...
