That balance is what I'm searching for. I tried to launch the first time and spun like crazy. Ten and a half seconds later............I went over the finish line. The second and third times were not as bad. I feathered it a little more and thought I had made up for it. My trap speed of 85.23 was...
Thanks Kwnate. I know how to DRIVE a five speed good, I've just got to get used to feathering it off the line. I let my air pressure down to 25 after the first two runs. That seemed to help a little. Now, I've got to go air them back up.............lol
Does anyone know how to adjust this and make it hold boost. I bought this brand new and I can't get it to hold boost. I adjust it but I keep getting 15 psi. I have it adjusted about all the way down. I'm thinking about taking it back and use my refund to help buy an apexi avcr. I should have got...
Hey fellow supra owners. Just wanted to vent. I installed my five speed and have been babying my clutch for fivehundred miles so I could go racing Saturday night. My wife and I went to Bama Dragway and I was sorely disappointed. I know it's going to take a while to learn how to launch properly...
If I'm being honest.... (that's my simon cowell impersonation) I have to say I like Craig's.
I do like the unibomber thought because I like watching the real unibomber play poker on the High Stakes Poker.................lol
My brother once tried to ship me some pretty shells, I can't remember what their called, but it's the ones people blow into like a horn. Anyways he mailed me some and marked fragile in very big letters EVERYWHERE on the box. When I got it, it looked like everyone at UPS had kicked it. Only two...
I didn't see anywhere on here where it told how much boost you are running. I may have missed it, but I read the whole thread. It sounded awesome on the dyno. I love it when your at full boost on the dyno. Mine sounds good to me and I'm only at 14 psi.................lol
Now you're just showing off...................;)
I doubt I'll be going that fast. I have two daughters and a wife that love me a little bit, so I think I'd like to see my two girls grow up........lol
Off topic. I've been breaking my clutch in for three hundred miles now, and it saids to do...
My tire size is 245/45/17 front and back. If the speedo gear in the transmission is so much bigger in the manual, wouldn't the instrument panel have to be different? Well, like you said, whatever works. I still haven't drove beside my wife's car to check it out. I drove it last night though and...
Thanks for the review Siskel, I mean Aaron. My wife and I are going out to watch Click tonight. I think Adam Sandler is funny, and I'm kind of partial to comedies.
I think you have to have enough horses to get to 6500 rpm in fifth. I don't think I'll ever find out. Our roads aren't the best around here, and that would eat a set of brakes up, trying to stop quick from 165.
I'm pretty sure that I've read somewhere SS that their is no perfect number, cause everyones car is different. Also I think the temperature or humidity may have something to do with the way your car runs. I know I'll get flamed for that last statement, but I'm almost possitive that I read it on...
Hey guys, I just stumbled onto this thread. I have the walbro 255, 550's, and lexus afm as well. I just installed my aeromotive fpr and I set the fp to 38 with the hose on. I've been running rich ever since then. I hope to get it dynod and tuned this saturday so he can adjust the fp their, but I...
Yeah, who would have thunk it? Kwnate just posted this useful link http://www.geocities.com/ma71supraturbo/ Click on MK3 tech on the left. It saids at 4000 rpm I should be doing 97mph. That's exactly what I posted I was doing. I said somewhere between 95-100.
Now I have a couple of...
I'm sorry cwapface, but I don't know for a fact, so I'd rather not say. Just guessing I would say yes, but if it was the 1 million dollar question I wouldn't go for it. I'd take the 500,000 and quit. Damn, if only I was smarter.
This useless post is only meant for a bump.................lol
