Hey Hott.......I just made a thread about my turbo. I have a garrett to4e with 50 trim. I don't know if that is good or not, since I'm not a turbo expert. I do know it spool pretty good and spools alot. It has an internal wastegate and it's suppose to be set at 14 psi.

My turbo (Garrett to4e w/ 50 trim) is supposed to be set with a 14 pound wastegate. Is this standard for a turbo of my size? All I really want to run is up to 14 psi. I just don't think I need more than that. What do you guys/ gals have your wastegate set at? What kind of turbo do you have, and...

Why would you spend money on the auto, if you're going to do the manual swap? Auto's are pretty expensive to rebuild, especially if you're wanting to make it a little stronger. I checked into rebuilding my auto, and decided to just swap it out for a five speed. Good luck with yours.

It is under the car, on top of the gas tank. I replaced mine when I did the fuel pump swap.

I was told that the Greddy Prof B is a good ebc. I know you like the avcr that you've installed, but I don't know if I need that many functions like you do. You're running a rocket ship and I've got a cropduster.......................;)

My clutch is only two weeks old, and I haven't been getting on it hard at all. I have raced it on the track four passes, and two dyno pulls, but when I'm on the street I haven't barked second at all. I'm just hoping that it's in the wastegate somewheres. I hate taking the turbo off, driving one...

Can't really tell you. My compressor will hold 130 psi. I only plugged it up for a few seconds so it didn't have but maybe 25 psi in it. I only pulled the trigger for real short bursts to open and close the wastegate. I doubt I hurt it, but maybe something is wrong that can be fixed fairly...

I did that about a month ago. Didn't see anything that looked out of place. I used my compressor to open and close the wastegate. I was told I may have hurt the diaphram on the wastegate by putting too much air to it. Don't know if that's possible, but that's what I was told. I'm going to take...

Maybe my wastegate isn't getting stuck open, because I'm getting boost. I was boosting 18 psi while I dynod. It just seems to take a while to get there. Still waiting for any suggestions.
