Trav: I fully intend one day to sell here and move out a bit so I can have 4>5 acres with a BIG shed ;) (it WILL have a flat driveway)
I'm not overly concerned with the body flex as I've tuned my suspension to take the noodle effect into account.
And here's an interesting thing I found while playing with Decel cut in the MoTeC with thin rings it would flutter badly enough to burn 1 Qt of Oil in 600 Km's :aigo:
Shutting the fuel off removed ALL of the combustion pressure above the rings and caused massive blowby and oil consumption.
John: Where the stock rails are at their shallowest becomes the limiting factor, my idea allows for at least 40>50mm in z Vs 12mm for an external rail.
Think of it as boxing the seat rails then connecting them across the Trans tunnel in an X configuration.
Well they range from #2 to #16, GroupA engines were all late 87's from memory so I didn't think they'd have a #10 on them but that was just a guess on my part as #16's may have been done much earlier than 92.
