This is a bit frustrating Dennis, this goes for EVERYONE posting a tech issue can you please provide accurate details, I was going on the idea it had no compression across the board, now it has "some".
You don't need to pull the intake just open the TB and listen it'll be apparant if it's...
Yep same thought here, can't really think of a cause for 0 in all 6, even with a hole torched in the crown of a piston mine still made some cylinder pressure...
stupid question time is the intake open??
ie you haven't made a new gasket and forgot the holes?? ;)
(only thing I can think...
Would make life easier if you had one or could borrow one, even a regulator on a compressor and use your compression tester coupling.
Set the reg to 30psi then listen at the intake for leakage....
I'm guessing you have 12 bent valves it takes the barest touch to bend them due to the tiny...
:nono: timing could be 180 degrees off on one cam and it would still have some cylinder pressure.
What are the valve clearances now?
Did you turn the crank at all with no cam belt?
My "understanding" was Garrett only sell complete CHRA's for the BB turbos, this may have changed by now but I haven't head if this is the case so that explains the cost :(
If you had a really tight AR and the ecu was pulling timing it "might" over speed.....
Can you get a good macro shot of the damaged wheel?
Saved the pics and blew em up, what ever did that was bigger than a grain of weld....
Got a bore scope?
