Here an Aussie delivered Mk3 is worth more than a JDM Mk3 more as it hasn't be hacked to suit Australian compliance. (Typically done by Neanderthal's wielding big hammers and silicone)
Ditto on not getting the whole JDM craze/obsession
So unless it's plugNplay you don't actually do a full standalone install on ECU's?
I'd like to see a pricing breakdown as I'm WELL aware of what's needed to install a standalone into an A70.
Have you done anything to it?
Have you posted an update or a vid?
Did you do the work on it or just bought it this way?
Has anything at all changed since post #1?
Most people wouldn't even click the thread to look, you need to do something to generate interest if that's what you're...
In the past I've used Auto drive plates with a bolted on fristion surface to mount up a normal size clutch with good results, for a road car you want a sprung hub and discs with marcel springs anything less is too much of a compromise.
Double the firing pulses per rpm is going to help but depending on where the mass is in the bolt on flywheel/friction surface it's NOT going to have a lot of kinetic energy so will take some pedalling to get going.
"If" you could do the work it could be repaired for the $500 and you need to factor in the time to swap your drivetrain across on top of the $500 shell.
