    Rebound Scleroscope Reasonably cheap and while not super accurate is the bare minimum a shop doing Aluminium cylinder head should have and use.

    Ran into the same issue here, seems the early manuals have a different shifter hump in the floor, not sure if an early Auto shifter is any different, I'm using an 89+ here. Use the rear holes, I drilled the floor for NutSerts in the front position.

    That all depends on the wear on the cams, more important is having them hardness test it BEFORE you spend another cent on it.
