I wonder what the rule is on entering a different supra the month after I entered the NA? Ive got a full days drive up and back but will have pics of the new Turbo posted tomorrow late. Its not Blue, but I think with a weeks worth of my special magic I can whip it into a contender.

no offence but from the mod parts list and the trouble it sounds like it has, I would say typical ragged on beat to hell Turbo. I would have to agree with '90turbo, a rebuild is gonna be in order. I dont see you ever getting it running properly without a full rebuild and that should take care...

Thats why you find it aftermarket not from the Stealership. I honestly have no idea what they cost though. Its basically just a shock absorber though, not exactly sophisticated

Using a full weld would actually increase the chance that it cracks under stress(not to mention warp). Seam sealer remains slightly flexible and is meant for that kind of application. A spot type weld every 3-6 inches is more than enough.

went and purchased an air compressor and some air tools (replacing stuff I had to leave behind in NM) and rebuilt a pair of front calipers for the 89. front brakes feel a ton better now. now its time for a long hot bath...to soak away the aches in my tired old body. Then its Sunday night...
