Had really good results with mine keeping the stock shape just increasing the port size by around 1mm.
That + Ferrea 1mm os valves/big cams the head flows like a mad bastard :)
From memory they have a down angle when installed, if not just leave a small hole at the lowest point as a drain.
You'll be stitch welding anyway so the hole can be a semicircle between welds.

Haven't been able to buy genuine Clevite 77's for about 5 years now, someone might be sitting on some NoS but I doubt it.
Pity as they have some unique tech that makes them very desirable but a little finicky to fit correctly
