heh, i have two cars on the road all year round. 1) my 86.5 turbo swapped supra- when there's no salt on the roads, and its just cold out, i drive it. 2) my '71 chevy c-10 stepside. 6 cylander, 250ci. 150hp 215tq. its got 92,000 on the odometer, and i know its gone around at least once...

the ecu's changed in '89. the difference being that the 89.5+ ECU's have an internal HAC sensor. 89.4 and earlier have an external HAC... -shaeff

perhaps try a coolant flush? i did one when i changed my antifreeze, and i was incredibly surprised at the amount of gunk that came out. some of it was definately large enough to plug those 5/8" heater hoses... sometimes i wonder how it didnt... -shaeff
