I ordered a set of these pistons. I'll report back, but so far I think Pimp hit the nail on the head with the rebadged toyota parts.
The treatment "looks" like the toyota but I'll compare em to my stockers when they arrive.
I know its kind of a dead topic but I had some new info on this set. I ordered the oil pump from this company. It came in lsat night and I thought I would pass along that the pump is indeed a turbo pump and on top of that it is actually a factory Toyota pump! How do I know its a Toyota pump...
hey if we all liked the same thing what would be the point of having different manufacturers right? Like I said there are a few LB's Ive see that I like. Like the one you pictured (though I could do without a few of the embellishments on it)
My very first experience with Celicas was my best...
Ive never been a huge fan of the gen1 liftbacks. There are a few that Ive see that are very nice. But seeing a notchback like in those vintage racing photos just looks "right" to me.
Ive said it before, I'll say it again. I WILL own one again someday, and it WILL get a motor swap and be a...
well looking closely at it...its a real nice starting base, but looks to me like it needs a proper restoration. The price jumped to double what it was this morning already and not reached reserve price yet!
Oh and putting a turbo on that might be fun, but it would be blashpemy. That RG...
Its called a "Turbo A Duct" for the JDM "Turbo A" version it came on. There a few styles available, but Im sorry I cant tell you exactly where to get one.

"I am not interested in any trades..."
I would SO rock that in my driveway!
I just got a set of gaskets from an ebay source and Im totally impressed. They were way better than the first set I bought and included more gaskets and seals etc as well.
Their store link is: http://stores.ebay.com/ERISTICGASKETS
I purchased a couple of items from them and it is all very nice...
LOL, no offence Lagged...seriously. but Keith kinda has a point. A funny point, but nonetheless, would be better to wait than to get ahead of yourself.
Well I can certainly relate to stuff not going as planned. Its par for the course on an old car. The hardened hoses and lines are typical and I ordered all new ahead of time just knowing this. "Adapt and overcome" is the phrase that comes to mind when doing a job like this. Its always a good...
Its not really the car, or the internet that infuriates me. Its the people behind the text.
Anyway, I think the idea is sound. What pisses me off is the naysayers. If your so concerned that info will be wrong, then contribute to the resourse what you think is right...dont just immediately...
once again a simple request on SM turns into a debate on the whole subject with the usual suspects tossing about their glorified opinions as gospel or debating the soundness of one mans idea.
For Fucks sake either offer to help the man or STFU and stay out of the topic. I just really dont see...
yeah I know the 21/22 nose is shorter than the 24 but thats all the more reason to shoehorn something in. I mean worst case you have to mod the firewall and trans tunnel right? That might be a problem for some people but I would only consider that a fun challenge. And just imagine the look in...
John....bah cant think of his name now, put a 7M in an RA24 if Im not mistaken. Also I have seen some really exotic swaps done on the early Celi's. Sure its alot of fab work, but in the end you would have one dead sexy sleeper. But yeah, I suppose a 3S-GTE would be plenty for a 2500lb car...
