This is why I posted the tool I did, if I'd meant an easy out I'd have posted one... :nono:
The Proto tool doesn't expand the fitting and make it tighter and I've never seen or heard of one this size breaking.
Just used epoxy, my clear was brand new so crystal clear, to the extent people used to reach in to touch the MoTeC SDL thinking there was nothing there :)
I cut out the White plastic enough for the dash to sit in then made spacers that screwed between the SDL and the White plastic case, I made an .5mm Aluminium facia, epoxied that in place and painted it.
Have used PermaCool and Mocal in the past 0 issues with either, Mocal is a bit more $ but you don't have to buy AN fittings for it so end cost isn't much different.
4 thou per inch of bore top, 5 thou second, as this is going to be well over 500rwhp I add 4 thou to the figures above.
Have nipped up a 7M in the past trying to run 4/5 at high load.
