If you want to run more then 20psi you probably should not be running a ct26 anyways. Making the cold side bigger does not take away the restriction from the hot side that is the turbo itself. Get a bigger turbo and make the same power at 14psi as the ct26 does at...
I have been thinking about putting a upgraded ct26 on a 1jz for a while, gonna do that sometime. If you can make 400whp on a 3L 7m, should be no problem on a 1jz. Twin ct26's would be way too much though, might as well go with a T88 :biglaugh:
But what if you only richened it from 14/1 to 13/1? You still could be way off or have bad lean spots, but without a wideband who knows?

The funny thing to me is that Toyota has never been a car company that was known for generally making vehicles with good fuel econmy, yet now gas prices are $3+ a gallon suddenly all their commercials are all about fuel economy.

We were tuning it on the dyno with the afc, which is why the numbers were going up with each pull. I never realized the full potential of that setup because there was an exhaust leak and there was a stock flange bolted to the 3" high flow elbow and welded to the 3" exhaust like a restrictor...
