Yes, the 20 valve will make the Starlet into a little rocket! The Tom's cover is possibly the only one in the US btw. I put a 82 Celica rear end in the Starlet already, and it's getting a LSD and a standalone soon.
I know you are all excited about learning about cars and stuff, and you want to help others, but slow your roll there cheif.
What most people REALLY don't understand is that added load on a alternator also causes the engine to work harder to turn the alternator.
The horsepower required to...
If you have to ask you are not baller enough. :biglaugh:
It was possibly one of the last ones available from Toyota.....ever.
It was one of only 3 left in the whole county according to our dealer, and that was months ago.

I don't know what happened, but I really miss IJ. He is a great guy with lots of excellent knowledge and experience, and more importantly I consider him a good friend even though I never met him in person. Even if he does not want to come back I want him to know this. I hope differences can be...
I think the hydrofan pressure line would be much better when used as.......the hydrofan pressure line on a working hydrofan. The hyrdofan pressure line has been known to fail, why use it on your power steering?
