No nash, cnewingham is right. When you relocate the fliter, you remove the filter housing, and you need an external thermostat in that case. The stock cooler is ok for a stock horsepower daily driver, not for a 400whp car driven hard. The stock oil cooler is wimpy, and the stock filter location...

I just installed one on Tommy's car last night with a filter relocation and a full flow oil thermostat also. We do them on most of our projects now.

I sell the slave cyl new OEM Aisin: $45 7m valve cover gaskets will work on a 1jz. Toyota is actually cheaper then AutoZone on the piliot bearing LOL I have an set of intake and exhaust gaskets available, but why do you need it? The intake gasket is metal and can be reused.

My old 50 trim made 370whp and 395tq at 21 psi :dunno:

Since my wastegate is a HKS copy, I put a real HKS 10psi spring in it because I have heard that the only part that is not up to par on the china wg's is the spring it comes with, and the shaft should be polished.

Why in the hell would you say the motor you are selling was subjected to 47lbs of boost before it blew up?

I have 550's and it's at 37psi with the vacuum line disconnected. Most of the low and mid settings are + a few digits, but wot is -6 to -18. Posting my exact numbers would not help because every setup is different, and I don't want to do damage to anyones engine by recommending afr settings.

My fuel pressure is set at 37psi and the base setting is -15.

I've been there myself, and it's not an easy decision when money is tight. Keep in mind that there is a chance the JDM engine could also have problems, and you will have even less money after purchasing it.

Yes, the whole bottom end has to be disassembled to surface the deck. I would also recommend you at least resize the rods and use ARP rod bolts, hone the cylinders, and install a new set of bearings and rings. You would be supprised how bad most of those "low milage" jdm longblocks look...

So even with the vacuum line going directly from the turbo outlet to the wastegate it was still spiking to 20 psi? That could only be the wastegate, like you said. I took mine apart and polished the shaft before I put it on the car just to be sure it would work smoothly.

I think he means that they had to make the wrong engine brackets work on the Supra.
