also be sure to turn the motor around a couple revolutions to be sure that everything is still lined up correctly, sometimes you could be off a tooth and itll throw everything off.
i agree. i also have an 86.5, lightest mkiii made so you have that going for you, and youll get a chance to clean up the engine bay while you have the motor out.
NO! do NOT power wash the engine bay.
first, itll be a PIA to cover all the electrical components that you dont want to get wet, second, you WILL get water in the spark plug valley causing your car to run like shit until the water evaporates.
youre just gonna have to clean the bay by...
its not THAT pathetic, bandwidth is expensive.
i think the joke is funny, and it makes sense for them as well if they have to take down the site do to some clean up and updates.
i think you would get away with it. if for some reason you were ever questioned, you just tell them that you have done some MAJOR work to the car, with many parts from many donor cars and some of those pieces that have been swapped just happend to have other vin plaes included.
try and find a stock 1jz intercooler, itll bolt up no prob in your ma70 chassis and will work with your FFI mani 2jz.
also, an oil pan from a 1jz should work on a 2jz, cant speak from first had experience but it is what i have read around online.
hah this time around im gonna have an NA cam in my motor, but at the same time its a fresh rebuild with oversized pistons so id suppose i couldnt give an accurate opinion either way.
yeah youll be ableto race and you can bring wahtever kind of car you want.
im pretty sure for us its just time trials, we dont have the track reserved for us as far as i know. i may be wrong however.
