    Might have to put a spacer in between the motor and the hanger as the pump head is bigger diameter.

    Most of the "bad" I've read has been for the Copies, 400 is a Gerotor Pump head on the Smaller Walbro Motor, really quiet in operation and feels very smooth while running, ANY other pump I've tried that have this sort of volume have been Coffee Grinders.. :(

    I'd stick with it due to it's sheer size :) As long as it has reasonable tube and fin count that is.

    Another benefit of the 400's is they're fairly new so no Copies out there... yet ;) I've ran a bunch of different pumps over the years and have never been as impressed by the free flow of the 400's, not even the 040 and 044 Bosch combo I ran came close to the firehose 400's

    Unplugged you should have shifter in L=2nd in 2=3rd and shifter in D=4th this is if all the gears are actually "home" inside and working.

    Stock pressure cap, .9bar I think from memory, PWR Rad, Stock GTE 10 blade Fan/Clutch. 6500 sustained would start it cavitating, you could see a temp spike and there was evidence of steam errosion at the back of the head, EWP sorted this nicely, I controlled it with the MoTeC so it was only...

    My 7M hit an equilibrium of 91c when leaning on it had for sustained periods, I ran a DC EWP in series to cover the stock pumps shortfalls at idle and high rpm. 50/50 Coolant, forget all the "magic" fluids they're bunk, "might" get you 1>2c difference maybe...if you're that marginal it's...

    Thought with the ECT unplugged you only got 2 gears? 2nd and 3rd from memory, 3rd will be unlocked and feel slippy.

    I run a stock Holden pump to an 8 litre fuel cell that has 2x 400's inside, I run a couple of Aeromotive pump controllers so at idle/cruise only 1 pump runs at reduced volume to prevent it boiling the fuel, I also run returnless so this makes a diference.
