Make sure you get your rear timing belt cover cut with the block and tourque the belt adjuster to 39 lb before he cuts the bore.

JE are know for piston slap and my machinist put mine at 3 thous. JE specs 4 thous.

Well i am uploading pics now and will post them soon. I got the motor and tranny about ready to come out. The fire was small and mainly affected the dash on the passengers side. Looks like the downpipe connection to the elbow had came lose and separated about a 1/2 inch and the heat caused the fire.

I feel really bad for him right now . He worked hard to save money for this car before he was old enough to drive and today he lost it all with liabilty only so hes out about 4 grand so i am going to help him the best i can.
