i have an 86.5. check out bishops section at ma70.com and drjonez's site 4cefed.com they both have some NA performance sections. IMHO however, youre wasting your time. go turbo, that what i did with my 86.

something else is still leaking. get a pressure tester. it hooks into the radiator. with the motor cold pump it up and see that it holds pressure, if it dosnt, find where it is leaking from. if you see NO external leaks, then it may be a BHG. if you have strange over heating problems...

to remove the oil pan with the motor in the car you have to lower the front suspension cross member. it is detailed in the TSRM.

if youre going with a MHG and the block will have to be surfaced, pull the motor your self and bring it to the shop your self, save lots of money.
